I often refer to Brian as "the energizer bunny" because of his tireless commitment to letter carrier. And equaling his unmatched work ethic, is his access. He is often contacted while driving across Region 12. His experience, education, and integrity lead to him as the overwhelming choice to return as Region 12 Business Agent. In our current state, our region needs proven experience and leadership. And that is what Brian Thompson displays daily.

Region 12 needs someone with knowledge and experience to be their National Business Agent (NBA) and that person is Brian Thompson. His knowledge and experience is unmatched by anyone running for NBA in Region 12. Throw in Brian’s dedication and loyalty to Letter Carriers and their issues, then you won’t find anyone better. Brian doesn’t make empty promises, he only works hard at addressing issues, training and educating every Letter Carrier in Region 12, whether they are carrying routes, injured, are officers of a branch or a branch president. All a branch president has to do is ask Brian and he will be in the area to train carriers and officers alike. Brian Thompson has done more training on a variety of subjects than any other business agent in Region 12. He negotiates on behalf of all letter carriers’ day and night, weekdays and weekends, his endless hours stand up against anyone in the country. His time, (24/7) and travel for the Region 12 Letter Carriers’ and their issues are non-stop. It doesn’t matter whether the branch has 3 members or 3000 members, he goes to acknowledge their accomplishments, handle important issues or put on training. Brian doesn’t know what it means to take a vacation from Region 12’s issues. There has not been a day of annual leave or any vacation that I know of where he has not worked on Letter Carriers’ problems during his time as national business agent. If you want a real leader to work on Letter Carriers’ issues and defend Letter Carriers, then Brian Thompson is your NBA.
